Hiking Guide
Are you outgoing, authentic, and passionate about Hawaiʻi and Maui? Are you looking to spend your working hours outdoors rather than being cooped up inside? This is your opportunity to begin an exciting new career where your “office” is the rainforest.
In addition to the starting $16 hourly pay rate, Hike Maui guides enjoy higher-than-average gratuities and built-in bonuses for certain tours, with a $500 bonus after 30 days of guiding following graduation from training.
This position requires strong entertainment skills and the ability to provide a steady narrative on Hawaiian culture, history, botany, and geology, with training provided. Candidates must possess a genuine love of nature, enjoy being physically active, and be comfortable spending much of the workday outdoors. Tours also involve a decent amount of driving, so a valid driver’s license is required. A clear driver’s abstract is preferred. Applicants must have lived on Maui for at least one year.
We are currently hiring for both Part-Time and Full-Time guide positions for our Spring 2026 Guide Class.
Part-Time guides must have at least 3 days of availability per week.
Full-Time guides must have 4 to 5 days of availability per week.

Warehouse Tour Support
Hike Maui is looking for a part-time or full-time Warehouse Associate to care for our awesome fleet of vans and assist with setting up our tour guides for success. Duties include washing & vacuuming vehicles, light laundry, light janitorial, and running errands as needed. Hours are 12-8pm, two to five days per week. Must have valid driver’s license. We’re the most fun group of people you’ll ever work with, and we’re looking for the perfect person to join our ‘ohana!
