Kahului Park & Ride Meeting Location
The Park & Ride meeting location is along a large concrete wall with a single row of parking facing Hwy 380 west of Hwy 311 just before entering Kahului.
At the Intersection of Highways 311 & 380.

Directions from Wailea / Makena / Kihei
- Highway 31 (Pi’ilani Highway) – head north.
- Follow airport signs to Kahului, bearing right onto Hwy 311.
- After 10 minutes, look for big church (King’s Cathedral), then move into left lane.
- Turn left onto Hwy 380 (Kuihelani Hwy).
- Go 200 yards and turn right into “Park n’ Ride” commuter lot.
- Park your car against a concrete block wall.
Directions from Lahaina /Ka’anapali /Kapalua
- Head south on Highway 30 as if you’re going to Kahului Airport.
- Turn right onto Hwy 380.
- Five miles down 380 there’s a concrete block wall on left.
- Turn left across highway into Park n’ Ride commuter lot against that wall.

Makena Landing Meeting Location
Kayak trip starts out of Makena Landing Beach Park on the south side of the island (near Wailea).
Directions from Lahaina /Ka’anapali /Kapalua
- South on Highway 30 (sign says “30 East”) in the direction of Kahului Airport.
- Right on Hwy 310 (N. Kihei Rd.) towards Kihei.
- Turn right onto Hwy. 31 (Pi`ilani Hwy) towards Wailea.
- Go to the end of Hwy. 31 (it veers right down the hill in Wailea).
- Turn left onto Wailea Alanui Dr.
- After approximately 1.2 miles, look for a large BLUE sign on the right side of road saying “Makena Landing.”
- Turn right after sign onto Honoiki Street.
- Turn right at stop sign and park on right side of road.
- Look on ocean side for kayaks – park there.
- Ask for the kayak company that works with Hike Maui.
Directions from Kihei / Wailea
- Kihei – follow Hwy 31 to Shops at Wailea
- Wailea – stay on Wailea Alanui and head south past Shops at Wailea
- After approximately 1.2 miles, look for a large BLUE sign on the right side of road saying “Makena Landing.”
- Turn right after sign onto Honoiki Street.
- Turn right at stop sign and park on right side of road.
- Look on ocean side for kayaks – park there.
- Ask for the kayak company that works with Hike Maui.
