We don't suggest renting kayaks on your own, unless you're experienced in the Pacific Ocean. Weather, waves and wind can be tricky. You don't want to head off on your own towards Japan. Experienced guides teach you the ropes. Novices are fine.
	West Side Tour For those on the West Side of Maui, it's best to drive to Makena to do the above Turtle Adventure; but, if you prefer the same thing (less rugged and remote), we can kayak in a shallow, calm area in the Olowalu Marine Sanctuary, on the West Side. The coral reef, fish and turtles are renowned there. 2.5-hour trip daily at 7:30 or 11 am -- Paddling 2.5 miles -- Retail: $64 + tax OUR PRICE: $60 + tax 4.5-hour trip daily at 7:30 am -- Paddling 3.5 miles -- Retail $89 + tax OUR PRICE: $84 + tax Meet at Ukumehame Beach Park
	Tour date requested: # Participant: If you cancel 24 hours or more prior to the date of the event, you will receive a full refund less a 10% cancellation fee. If you cancel within 24 hours for any reason, you will receive no refund. If Hike Maui cancels (which we do for dangerous weather), you will receive a full 100% refund.
