We had an amazing day ... it was the highlight of our vacation (with the exception of the night we got engaged!). Ray was our guide and I cannot express how impressed we were by the vast amount of knowledge he had of just about everything! I can't imagine having a better experience than we did with Ray. We have much more respect for the land and culture now, and we're very grateful for that. PLEASE don't let Ray go anywhere!! He's fabulous.

Our hike guide was tremendous.  He took us on a great hike and, in addition, was enormously knowledgeable about Hawaiian flora and fauna.  Finally, he gave us a sense of traditional Hawaiian culture and how the native belief systems were interwoven with the land.  Best guide we have ever had!

Just returned from Maui. We did the Hike with RAY. He is AWESOME. He knows that area better than I know my own back yard. It was a bit of a challenge in some parts of the hike but Ray was patient and kind. He never did anything UNSAFE. I loved the little mini classes on the plants, fruits, and history. Thank you for a great time.
